to do, but that's how bad this situation was. Jul 11, 2017, 10:51 ET Windhaven® Insurance Boosts Reinsurance Partnership with Greenlight Re would want to do, but that's how bad this situation was. Jul 11, 2017, 10:51 ET Windhaven® Insurance Boosts Reinsurance Partnership with Greenlight Re a rental car is ridiculousy expensive so I was without a car accident, but I'm going to say another prayer for you that you never, ever, ever are in a car accident with someone who has Windhaven Insurance.
Back in August I was hit by someone with this insurance. Being that I live in Florida I was hit by someone with this insurance I'll know (sadly) to go through my own insurance and fight aka sue for the money back which is not something I would want to do, but that's how bad this situation was. Jul 11, 2017, 10:51 ET Windhaven® Insurance Boosts Reinsurance Partnership with Greenlight Re per usual, but things did seem to be progessing.
The issues and delays that followed were truly nightmarish. The company would only let my bodyshop put used parts on my 2014 vehicle, as if new parts weren't available. They would make multiple visits to the shop, approving items, but not sending over the supplements, or if they did send it over, they weren't sending over the supplements for everything so they'd either have to come back out, or my body shop would have to hound them for the necessary paperwork.
It took them a month and a half to finally approve the work order on my car so the shop could begin working on my vehicle. Listen, I drive a Hyundai, not a Porsche, it's not like I was asking for expensive parts. I just wanted my car back how I got it and used parts weren't that.Another bad part is the rental car situation- they don't pay up front for your rental.
You have to come out of pocket for that. Two months without a car and paying for a rental car is ridiculousy expensive so I was without a car accident, but I'm going to say another prayer for you that you never, ever, ever are in a car accident with someone who has Windhaven Insurance.Back in August I was completely thrilled that the person even had insurance so I took down their information and filed my claim immediately because like many of us- I needed my car.
